Fri Nov 18- Sat Nov 19 2011- Utopia Limited - One of the last of the duos collaborations, Utopia Limited is set on an exotic South Sea Island, that reveres the English way of life as the ideal, and invites some political leaders to come and teach them English ways. CESP are proud to present this semi-staged version, featuring all the music and lyrics, with narration to help tell the story. With it's tongue in cheek look at the English political and business system, much of the show is still highly relevant today, so come along for a good laugh!

Wed May 23 - Sat May 26 2012 - The Mikado - Probably the most famous and popular of Gilbert and Sullivan's operas, The Mikado tells the tale of a lowly Japanese tailor, who finds himself elevated to the post of Lord High Executioner of the Town of Titipu, and rather unexpectedly needs to fulfill his duties before the Emperor of Japan, The Mikado, suddenly pays them a visit. With Japanese schoolgirls, the heir to the throne in disguise, a rather unattractive and frightening older lady and Pooh-Bah; Lord High everything else, together with some of the most famous tunes from Sullivan's music, The Mikado has to be one of the greats, so pencil the date in your diary now, and come along and see us next year.
