Our next major production will be a semi-staged production one of the latest of the duo's works, Utopia Ltd. The residents of a remote South Sea Island are fascinated with the politics of a small isle beyond the waves - Great Britan, and invite various political figures to come and remake their society in Britains' image. With plots and schemes aplenty, they seem to get quite a bit more than they bargained for, until they finally realise where they went wrong, and all ends happily after all. With some political satire that is at least as relevant today as 100 odd years ago, this is a humourous look at the possible fallacies of believing any political system is perfect. To be performed 18-19 November, at St. Johns Church, Brookscroft Road, Walthamstow, London E17 4LH, do come along and give this less well-known opera a chance!
